Aavegotchi
Aavegotchi is the true gaming metaverse. Although it started as a virtual pet game, now it has transformed into a fully-fledged pixel/voxel world. Yes, I mention both types of graphic styles because the game’s NFTs are suitable for both 2D and 3D metaverses. Although the main Gotchiverse is made in 2D, mini-games have a wide range of possible angles they can be played at.

Bomb Crypto
Bomberman has become one of the classics of gaming, in the same way as the Mario platformers. Its core gameplay premise is good and entertaining enough to be left unchanged, and the developers of Bomb Crypto have “fertilized the ground of the classics” by integrating blockchain, wearables, and even a small metaverse.
In Bomb Crypto, you can not only battle with other players in an online arena, but also complete quests, adventures, and buy wearables or even a house for your hero. The game’s multiverse is called “Bomberland” and its token is $BCOIN.

Battle Racers
Battle Racers is a visually-vivid RC racing simulator with blockchain features. Those who started their gaming experiences in the 90s, or earlier, will remember Rock n’ Roll Racing from Blizzard.
The game is currently playable on desktop in ‘early access,’ as well as in Decentraland. Furthermore, the developers recently announced plans to finish a mobile version of Battle Racers by the end of this year. They claimed it will be “a recharged version with brand new gameplay designed especially for your phones.”
So far, one of the more interesting features of the game is the garage in which you can build your own car using unique components. All in-game items are NFTs, and before races begin, players are allowed to equip their cars with weapons, shields, and traps.
Big Time
Big Time is shaping up to become a big game indeed. It is an MMO action RPG on blockchain, but with some unique features. The main selling point of the game is the constant traveling across time and space, a mechanic most recently seen in the new ‘Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart’ for the PlayStation 5.
Of course, the mechanic will most likely be utilised in a different way in Big Time, though the developers haven’t fully revealed how just yet. What they have revealed is that there will be four playable character classes: warrior, magician, a fast ninja with stealth mechanics, and healer. Weapons, as well as other collectables, will be playable NFTs, thus, meaning there won’t be any item collecting merely for the sake of collecting.
The best part of the game’s economy, according to the devs is that:
“… there will be no initial offering or pre-sale of the token to anyone, including the development team, meaning that the token will be 100% community-driven. The primary way to acquire the tokens will be to play the game.”
Aurory
Aurory is another virtual pet game, but not of the usual kind seen in the crypto gaming industry. While is focused more on battling, collecting, and breeding, Aurory provides the adventure mode, more akin to the JRPG genre. This makes Aurory similar to the Pokémon series, and even the cards of your monsters refer to the traditional Pokémon cards we know and love.
From a technical standpoint, Aurory is one of the first games based on the blockchain, which means lower transaction fees and computing times compared to ERC-20 token-based games. It has also already been backed by Animoca Brands, and Solana itself.
Stormrite
Stormrite is an action-RPG with a visual style similar to The Witcher 3. Having said that, the game is much more reminiscent of Skyrim in terms of its gameplay. Stormrite is part of the Enjin ecosystem, and therefore in-game NFTs will be suitable for other Enjin games as well. The project raised $55K on Kickstarter this year, despite it being developed by one person. The release date of the demo version is set for Q4 2022, so there is a chance for it to explode at the end of the year.
