Bitcoin Depot, a Bitcoin ATM operator, has launched BDCheckout, which allows customers to put cash onto their digital wallets, and then use to purchase bitcoin. Customers can download the BDCheckout app, then load cash onto their accounts at the register at participating retailers, according to a press release.
Bitcoin Depot partnered with InComm Payments to allow users to load cash onto their wallets via the VanillaDirect cash-in barcode platform at thousands of retailers. Customers can give cash to a cashier, who will then scan the barcode on their BDCheckout app to add the cash.
