Crypto Market up 3.30% Today. Who Are the Biggest Winners?

Even with a poor economy, the cryptocurrency market can see some bright days. Today, the market is up overall by 3.30% compared to the same time yesterday, with an increase of $941.57 billion.

How Does the Crypto Market Look?

We can’t take a look at the cryptocurrency market without checking in with Bitcoin (BTC), which is up today by 3.13% to a rate of $20,904 (BTC/USD). The overall rate of increase is not much different from Bitcoin’s own, showing that this crypto token is accounting for much of the market movement. As Bitcoin goes, so too goes the crypto market.

BNB is up just 0.88%, and XRP is up 3.24%. Cardano increased by 2.24% over the last 24 hours, with Dogecoin getting a boost of 3.04%. As you can see, a lot of the major players are pretty close to a 3% increase today. The numbers could climb even higher later on, as there are still a lot of hours left in the day.

The Top Gainers for Today

Ethereum (ETH) is making some of the biggest waves today, with an increase of 6.92% at the time of this writing. That puts it over the $1,200 mark and is continuing a climb for the ETH rate that we have been seeing happen all week long.

Another big gainer is Solana (SOL), which is up by 6.33% to a rate of $38.32 (SOL/USD).

Polygon (MATIC) shot up 9.11% and is sitting pretty at $0.5608 (MATIC/USD).

Uniswap (UNI) gained 7.35% today to achieve a rate of $5.72 (UNI/USD).

There are some big winners today among the major cryptos, while some of the minor crypto tokens are seeing even bigger gains. What this means is that there is plenty of trading going on and the crypto market is healthy, at least for today.

How Long Will It Last?

We do expect the market to slow down over the weekend, with some of the cryptos we have just mentioned not doing so hot come Monday. That’s because inflation levels are still high (and increasing), and the overall market economy is not very healthy. These are not good conditions for the crypto market to flourish, so any wins like we are seeing today (and even for the week, for some cryptos) are not likely to be sustained for long.

A lot of action tends to happen with the cryptos over the weekend, and we anticipate a reversal of more than a few fortunes over the next few days as the market comes off its high.
