Injective Protocol, an Ethereum-compatible Blockchain utilized in the decentralized finance (DeFi) and derivatives industries, received a “CosmWasm main net” upgrade at the beginning of July to give its developers and users enhanced functionality and efficiency.
The smart contracts platform with an emphasis on DeFi can now provide developers and, by extension, users significantly more capability and usability. In addition to allowing developers to create more complicated apps, the upgrade introduces negative maker fees and permits the construction of multi-chain smart contracts and smart contracts that execute themselves.
DeFi said that while the change is primarily designed for developers, users who utilize the dApps developed on Injective will also benefit.
