He was born Tuesday, November 2, 1926, in Pineland, TX, the son of Drennon Clarence & Julia I. (Nations) Stringer. Married Jean Joenne Payne. He practiced dentistry in Vandalia, IL for over 50 years. He was also one of Jehovah’s Witnesses for over 46 years and enjoyed many volunteer activities with their organization. He also enjoyed playing golf, camping in his motor home, flying as a licensed pilot, and traveling around the world.
He is survived by: Sons – Scott Thomas Stringer & Karen, William Edward Stringer & Cheryl, Richard Lingle Stringer & Malin and Joseph Michael Stringer; Daughter – Tama Beiling & Brian; Grandchildren – Eric Beiling and Jedidiah “JD” Stringer; Brother – Win Stringer & Christine; and Sister – Nell Laswell.
Preceded in death by: His Parents; Brother – Durwood Stringer; and Sister – Virginia Mabry.
