Floki Inu ($FLOKI) Gets Listed on Crypto Exchange With Over 5 Million Users

On Friday (November 12), a top 15 (by trading volume) centralized crypto exchange listed popular dog meme cryptocurrency Floki Inu ($FLOKI).

What Is $FLOKI?

The idea of creating this cryptocurrency was born on June 25 after Dogecoin $DOGE) advocate Elon Musk tweeted that the name of his Shiba Inu dog would be “Floki”.

Until recently, you could only buy on $FLOKI on very few centralized exchanges (such as Gate.io). As for decentralized exchanges, you can buy it on Uniswap and PancakeSwap since it “has both an ERC 20 token and a BEP20 token.”

FLOKI has both an ERC 20 token and a BEP20 token. It can be bought on the Uniswap DEX and on PancakeSwap.

The Floki Inu team says that some of the projects that will use the $FLOKI token are as follows:

  • Valhalla: “A Play-To-Earn NFT gaming metaverse currently being developed by the FLOKI team. Our goal with Valhalla is to get many people who might not have otherwise heard about crypto to explore cryptocurrency and blockchain technology through an NFT game — and to get paid while doing it.
  • FlokiPlace: “The NFT economy is strong and will only become more vibrant. We also look forward to a world where people can easily purchase physical goods with cryptocurrency. FlokiPlaces aims to fill this gap by making it easy for people to trade NFTs and physical goods while paying with cryptocurrency — with the FLOKI token as the core payment option.
  • Inuversity: “FLOKI is working to help create a world where pretty much everyone is exposed to cryptocurrency and the blockchain in some form. To achieve this, we believe educating people about blockchain technology is mission practical. Floki Inuversity will be the premier cryptocurrency education platform. It’s focus is to educate the mainstream audience FLOKI appeals to and get them more familiar with cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.

$FLOKI Gets Listed on BitMart

BitMart is a centralized spot exchange that says it has offices in New York, Singapore, Seoul, and Hong Kong, and that it has servered over five million users from 13 countries.

On November 8, the BitMart Team announced that it would list $FLOKI on November 12, when the trading pair FLOKI/USDT trading pair would become be available.

The exchange pointed out that “FLOKI transaction fees charge an extra 3% fees on top of BitMart deposit Fees and withdrawal fees.”

Interestingly, one day earlier (i.e. on November 7), African crypto exchange DafriXchange Pro tweeted that it would be launching trading in five FLOKI trading pairs on November 8.

Earlier today, BitMart announced that on November 15 it would hosting a live Ask Me Anything (AMA) session during which they will be talking to Floki Inu’s Community Manager.

Also, BitMart said that it would be listing $FLOKI competitor Lil Floki ($LIKFLOKI), which is powered by Binance Smart Chain (BSC).

On November 9, TechCrunch reported that according to two sources familiar with the matter BiMart is “in talks to raise about $20 million at a pre-money valuation of $300 million.”
