Former Goldman Sachs executive Raoul Pal expects a bright future for Ethereum ($ETH), Terra ($LUNA), and Polkadot ($DOT).
Prior to founding macro economic and investment strategy research service Global Macro Investor (GMI) in 2005, Pal co-managed the GLG Global Macro Fund in London for global asset management firm GLG Partners (which is now called “Man GLG”). Before that, Pal worked at Goldman Sachs, where he co-managed the European hedge fund sales business in Equities and Equity Derivatives. Currently, he is the CEO of finance and business video channel Real Vision, which he co-founded in 2014.
In an interview with Altcoin Daily on January 29, Pal claimed that a number of influential investors have been bullish on Terra and Polkadot.
As reported by The Daily Hodl, Pal said:
“You notice that there’s a huge amount of investors who are very bullish on Terra still including Remi (Tetot) who works for me, who was a co-founder of Real Vision and works for Global Macro Investor. He’s a big investor in that space, loves it and a lot of people are.
“A lot of people that I think are very important investors in the space are very bullish on Polkadot still, and they have been for a long time. It’s never really done what everybody expected it to do, but again you’ve got to keep your mind open to these things or it could be something else. Something else comes out of the blue, finds a different use case and before you know it, so it’s really hard to trade this kind of stuff.“
Pal was also bullish with his forecast for Ethereum. According to the macro guru, ETH still has a “strong run to come” in 2022 and the coin has been in a year-long sideways correction that would provide the springboard for further gains:
I still think, risk-adjusted, ETH will do extremely well over time. The reason why it’s expensive to use is because it’s so damn popular..
Pal predicted that $ETH could go “another 10x” from its current market cap over an unspecified period of time due to growing adoption and the roll out of ETH 2.0 features.
