Injective INJ-ETH Bridge Goes Live – Product Release & Updates

Do you want to enjoy lightning-fast transactions at no extra cost? Then look no further. Injective Protocol’s much-anticipated Injective INJ-ETH bridge is finally online.

According to reports, the recently launched Injective Bridge will provide its users with top-notch cross-chain interoperability. The bridge will bring about the seamless transfer of assets across both Ethereum and Injective. It will also reportedly serve as a linkage to decentralized finance (DeFi) across the popular blockchain protocols of Ethreum, Cosmos, and Injective.

Interestingly, the INJ-ETH bridge went live on the Injective hub. With the launch, users can also link any ERC-20 token to the Injective Chain. The bridge, as previously stated, will enable lightning-fast transactions at a relatively low cost of approximately $0.02. Fast transfers on the bridge are made possible by Injective’s proof-of-stake (PoS) consensus mechanism powered by Tendermint.

Top-Notch UX for End Users

When compared to other Ethereum scaling solutions, the recently launched Peggy bridge boasts of having the fastest withdrawals. This is because the conventional ETH scaling solutions available today take several days to complete a withdrawal request while the INJ bridge only requires a maximum of five minutes.

This interesting decentralized, secure, and high-performance bridge is also accessible to all. This is because the bridge was specially designed to ensure ease of accessibility and usage for end-users despite the level of their knowledge of the blockchain and DeFi space. Users will enjoy a truly intuitive interface when interacting with the bridge. This is quite an impressive addition because general knowledge of the workings of the blockchain and DeFi space is still in its infancy.

The recently launched Peggy Bridge has a number of exciting features, namely:

  • It is native to Ethereum so is compatible with a number of ETH tools like MetaMask. Users are also advised to make use of Ethereum-supported tools when withdrawing or depositing from the bridge.
  • Friendly user interface
  • Fast
  • Secure
  • Cost effective
More on the Injective Bridge

The bridge will open up users to the myriad of innovative DeFi products being developed on the Injective protocol. Also, developers will enjoy better incentives as they build on the protocol while also having unrestricted access to ETH-compatible developer tools.

Known for being the first-ever cross-chain protocol specially designed for DeFi applications, Injective creates an enabling environment for the adoption of the DeFi space. Furthermore, the protocol is supported by top players in the blockchain space like Pantera Capital, Binance, and popular entrepreneur Mark Cuban.
