If you’re a crypto enthusiast, you’re probably well aware of how volatile and unpredictable the crypto market is. Over the past years since the boom of cryptocurrency, we’ve seen a couple of crazy trends that swooped over the community. For instance, 2017 had that CryptoKitties craze that nearly froze the ETH blockchain for quite some time. There’s also the NFT craze this year, along with the meme coin craze that all started with the release of Dogecoin.
In recent times, meme coins have been gaining popularity more than ever, as tokens inspired by the original DOGE have been blasting off to the moon. Speaking of, Dogecoin has been reaching new all-time highs as well, so much so that it was able to reach and maintain a market cap of around $50 billion for several days. As such, it even became the fourth most popular cryptocurrency for quite some time.
Although Dogecoin is quite popular because of Tesla CEO Elon Musk, one of the richest men in the world, who continuously promotes and backs up the project, it’s no longer the only meme crypto that has been rallying successfully. These days, other meme tokens have been popping up and rallying as much as 10,000% in only days. Some examples of up-and-coming tokens are Hokkaido Inu, Shiba Inu, Kishu Inu, and Akita Inu.
Since these Inu-themed tokens are doing so well, more of them have been appearing left and right, so much so that critics believe they’re only a threat to the crypto market.
That being said, it appears that there’s a new Inu-based coin in town that is taking a different approach from the rest. Introducing: DogeMoon, a crypto project that’s on Binance Smart Chain (BSC), and is essentially a portmanteau of both Dogecoin and SafeMoon.

Unlike other crypto projects out there that have been gaining traction, DogeMoon has allocated a certain percentage to be donated to various charities across the globe as it continues to thrive. So far, DogeMoon has already donated to two charities, namely the UEFA Children’s Charities and the Able Child Africa.
Not only that, the project is hosting a $5,000 meme contest in order to spread the word. For now, only time will tell whether DogeMoon will grow so big that it becomes the next Dogecoin, or if it will just sizzle out and die like countless other meme cryptocurrencies out there.
