Just as the cryptocurrency world has come crashing down and with world leaders like European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde saying recently that cryptocurrencies are “worth nothing”, Jet Luxe has announced what it is calling its “newly enhanced technology offering which includes digitised payment options and tours of the Global 6000 in the metaverse”.
The company said it was part part of a move to reduce “friction” for jet owners, prospective clients, and end-users. Jet Luxe now accepts cryptocurrencies and offers an instant payment facility via Paynode. On board, passengers can also enjoy seamless entertainment and full wireless connectivity with the utilisation of Flymingo.
Gabriel Madrid, CEO, Jet Luxe said, “We have introduced instant booking options including crypto payments from 13 currencies and all major wallets. The objective is to ensure the end-to-end experience with Jet Luxe is more efficient than ever and in parallel, enable us to reach and serve the crypto community. As we continue to grow, Jet Luxe will differentiate by offering seamless, luxury, VIP travel experiences powered by robust, seamless fintech.”
After experiencing the Jet Luxe Global 6000 in the metaverse, clients can instantly book a flight from wallets including: BitPay, Coinbase, Exodus, Metamask, Blockchain Wallet, Electrum Wallet, Trust Wallet, Ledger Wallet, BRD Wallet, Gemini, Kraken, and Binance. Flights and luxury travel experiences can also now be purchased using 13 cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Dogecoin (DOGE), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), Shiba Inu (SHIB), Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC), XRP [outside United States], and five USD-pegged stable coins (BUSD, DAI, GUSD, USDC, and USDP).
