LINCOLN, Neb. — Authorities say a Lincoln man lost $10,000 in a cryptocurrency scam.
Lincoln Police say a 33-year-old man reported online fraud on Wednesday. He told police he got a message that appeared to come from a friend telling him about an online trading group.
The man then used a Coinbase account to make two transactions. He later learned that account had been drained of $10,000.
The investigation is ongoing.
