Mreit builds Decentraland HQ and debuts Ethereum token
Toronto, March 9, 2022 — MetaSpace Real Estate Investment Trust (Mreit), the first tokenized metaverse real estate investment group for user accessibility to invest in metaverse real estate, has officially launched its headquarters in Decentraland.
Similar to other real estate investment trusts, Mreit focuses on acquiring, leasing, minting and managing high-traffic real estate in the metaverse. It is reducing entry barriers for newcomers in the crypto community and providing desirable real estate spaces for users, brands and companies entering the metaverse.
The company’s headquarters in Decentraland features four stories with three dedicated floors for nonfungible token showrooms. This space is part of Mreit’s new demo initiative, allowing clients to visit and customize to showcase their products and services.
“We’re thrilled to have officially launched our headquarters in Decentraland as Mreit marks the first tokenized real estate investment company in the metaverse,” says Evan Klein, co-founder and chief brand officer of Mreit. “As virtual landlords, we’re pushing the boundaries for top-tier brands and creating access for companies and brands to enter the metaverse and maximize their digital exposure.”
As Mreit grows, the company will continue to advise new retail and commercial clients on how to expand their virtual footprints successfully. From locating suitable land to developing one-of-a-kind buildings and co-hosting events, the Mreit team is focusing on supplying its demographic with unmatched products and services.
Since Mreit’s initial launch in December 2021, it has debuted its Ethereum token, broadening exposure to more indexes and exchanges. Mreit currently has a growing community of more than 900 tokenholders.
To celebrate the official launch of the Mreit headquarters, it will host a launch party in Decentraland on March 17, 2022, with the Miami chapter of the Bored Apes Yacht Club.
