Crypto.com has revealed its progress report before the upcoming launch of its Cronos mainnet on October 19, 2021. Cronos is the EVM chain running parallel with the Crypto.org Chain. Further, this strives to scale the DeFi ecosystem while ensuring the portability of dApps from Ethereum and EVM-compatible chains.

The team has allocated a $300,000 prize pool for participants of its native token, CRO. As per the announcement, over two million transactions were performed on this Cassini testnet. In addition, 18,000 addresses were transacted along with 400 smart contracts deployed. Notably, the tester and builder registration ended on October 11, 2021, at 03:59 UTC.
