BitBoy Crypto Net Worth 2021 – You Will be Shocked!

BitBoy Crypto is a cryptocurrency content creator with an estimated net worth of $28 million. Real name Ben Armstrong, he runs a YouTube channel covering the latest crypto news, coin reviews, and offers trading advice. With the rise of Bitcoin and altcoins, Ben’s channel has really taken off. He now has over 1.35 million subscribers on the platform and continues to grow his audience as the bull market continues.

He first got started with crypto by accident in 2011. Ben had a ticket selling business (Front Page Tickets) and the website he was advertising on changed their payment options and only accepted Bitcoin. BitBoy ended up spending $10,000 worth of BTC advertising his ticket business. During this time he didn’t fully understand Bitcoin and missed out seven figure profits when he sold too early. In 2017 when BTC hit $20,000 he invested a lot of time into learning about the potential of blockchain technology.

Portfolio

Every few months, BitBoy openly shares his portfolio with viewers. The value of his holdings have exploded in 2021 and his portfolio is worth a staggering $28 million as of October 15th 2021. He literally owns 100’s of coins with Bitcoin, Ethereum, Cardano, Polkadot, Solana and Binance Coin being the six holdings. While I might not agree with his holdings, I do appreciate the level of transparency.

His main holdings broken down:

  • Bitcoin – $8,1 million
  • Ethereum – $5.5 million
  • Cardano – $2.3 million
  • Polkadot – $1.6 million
  • Solana – $1.3 million
  • Binance Coin – $960,000

Ben started his channel around January 2018 and is one of the top five crypto YouTubers along with the likes of Benjamin Cowen, Lark Davis and Coin Bureau. Over the years, his business has grown outside of just uploading videos and now has a website, merch store and academy (bitlabacademy.com). Due to his large audience across social media sites, Ben sells advertising to make additional revenue.

Examples of advertising rates displayed on his website:

  • Dedicated review – $35,000
  • TikTok Ad – $25,000
  • Livestream mention – $20,000
  • Website article – $2,500

In July 2021, BitBoy was banned on YouTube for a brief period. He tweeted out stating his ban was because of an unfair crackdown on crypto related content. The channel was reinstated within 24 hours. A similar issue happened with Anthony Pompliano’s account a few months later. No reason was provided for the suspension.

Also on Reddit users have posted threads warning others to be cautious when investing in coins mentioned on BitBoy’s show. Some viewers will blindly buy coins with small market caps and get annoyed when if the price quickly dumps.
