Cryptocurrency prices were mixed on Tuesday, with Bitcoin trading above $57,000 mark.
Barring Bitcoin, a majority of cryptocurrency prices continued to trade lower on Tuesday with Solana, Ripple and Polkadot shedding up to 3 per cent each.
Adding nearly 1.5 per cent in the last 24 hours, Bitcoin, the world’s largest cryptocurrency, was trading above the $57,000 mark for the first time since May.
Meanwhile, Ether was trading at $3,509 or 0.29 per cent lower than its price 24 hours ago.
The global crypto market cap eased as much as a per cent to $2.30 trillion compared to the last day.
However, the total crypto market volume rose more than 7 per cent to $105.63 billion.
Edul Patel, CEO and Co-founder of Mudrex, a global algorithm-based crypto investment platform, said, “The euphoria in the crypto markets seems to continue. Over the past 24 hours, we saw the market giving steady returns while the major altcoins found solid support.”
“Bitcoin, which had an amazing rally for the past 1 week, has found its resistance levels. It is recommended to watch the markets closely, a breakout or a selloff might take place,” Patel added.
