Love STEPN But Priced Out? Try BikeRush!

For those who were interested in the STEPN project, but are now priced out, there is a new game in town: BikeRush. This game is a similar game, but instead of a running-based P2E game, this one is based on cycling. They’re calling it a ‘ride-to-earn’. The company recently announced their plans for a game and has since launched its website.

BikeRush is a new, innovative, ride-to-earn game on the Solana blockchain.

What we Know About BikeRush so far

BikeRush only recently started posting on Twitter, after the page was started in 2016, they have grown to over 10,000 followers. It is a Web3 lifestyle app with Game-Fi and Social-Fi elements built-in. The upcoming game allows users to equip themselves with NFTs in the form of a bicycle. By cycling outdoors, users will be able to earn in-game coins, which can then be cashed out for profit.

The project has said that they’re the first ride-to-earn game on the Solana blockchain. They’re aiming to develop their game, and evolutionise the field of DeFi mixed with GameFi.

It is currently in closed beta, and the public beta is set to be coming soon, said BikeRush on their Medium blog. Later down the line, they look to integrate multi-chain possibilities. Also, they look to be carbon neutral, with a portion of fitness profits going to purchasing carbon neutral credits on the blockchain to fight climate change.

The project’s governance token is $BEN, which has a total supply of 100 million. Moreover, the utility token is $BIK, which has an unlimited supply. Their aim with two tokens is to prevent the game from being too affected by the rise and fall of governance tokens.

Comparisons to STEPN

There are obvious comparisons to make between BikeRush and the extremely popular move-to-earn game, STEPN. Not only are their websites’ UI and UX similar, but the general concept of the games also are. With one focusing on running, and the other on cycling. Additionally, both of the teams have doxxed members. They have partnered with some big names in the crypto and cycling spaces.
